Scraps of Life

Scaps of Life may best be described as a nonsensical collection of related and unrelated pieces written over an indeterminate period of time... Carol says, "The pieces express 'me' and my emotional state at the time they were written." All things being equal, they also express us the readers as we all walk with the author the same paths together and alone. The situations and emotions are highly recognizable: the joy of bonding and the first impressions of meeting someone; a first encounter with depression; the death of a friend; love; the ending of a relationship; and just simply getting on with life. Along the way deeper issues are addressed: those of spirituality, sense of self, aging, emotional balance and healing.
