Waiting for Savon examines the existential idea of endless wait for the non-existent leader with the magic wand to transform a season of anomie into a paradise. It utilizes the resources of the theatre of the absurd as popularized by Samuel Beckett as a metaphor to lampoon the absurdities prevalent in Third World countries, where the gathering of the tribes for Savon ends in disappointment.
