A Messianic Haggadah in Y’shua’s 1st century order, using the storytelling form to pass on the Great Story - Yahweh’s love for mankind from creation, through Abraham, Moses, Y’shua, and into prophesy. The Passover (Pasach) commemorates two pivotal events in human history, looking forward to a third to come. It is Yahweh’s commandment (mitswot) that all Yisrael observe this evening through out all our generations (Shemot/Exodus 12:14) to remember His deliverance from Egypt (Mitsraim). Y’shua tells us that with this observance, in remembrance of Him, we proclaim His death until He comes again (Luqa/Luke 22:19). Yet, in Scripture, a deliverance even greater than that from Mitsraim is prophesied yet to come…“People now affirm their oaths ‘I swear as surely as Yahweh lives who delivered the people of Yisrael out of Mitsraim.’ At that time they will affirm them ‘I swear as surely as Yahweh lives who delivered the people of Yisrael from the land of the north and from all the other lands where he had banished them.’†- Yir’muyahu 16:14-15. This Haggadah follows the order of service as would have been done by Y’shua in the first century with Messianic additions. It utilises the storytelling form to pass on the Great Story - Yahweh’s love for mankind from creation, through Abraham, Moses, Y’shua, and into the prophesied future. As you prepare for this special evening of remembrance and hope, our prayer is that through the ancient traditions you will renew your love for Yahweh Elohim, and your thankfulness for His Y’shua (salvation). Baruk haba b’Shem Yahweh!
