Video Streaming Standards

While today's Internet is used primarily for file transfer, e-mail, and HTML Web pages, the more robust broadband networks of the future will increasingly be used to deliver streaming multimedia, such as audio and video. This report examines the most important of the video streaming standards, while at the same time acknowledging that product platforms, not standards, clearly have a grip on the real-world market.
