Face-Off: Microsoft Commerce Server vs iPlanet Commerce server

The engine that makes e-commerce run is the commerce server. With UNIX/Linux facing off with Windows NT for the number one spot in running Web sites, Microsoft is battling for market share in the server market with companies making UNIX-based products. Thus, two of the leading commerce servers are the Microsoft Commerce server and the server from the Netscape/Sun alliance, iPlanet.
