Adopting the Process View: A Case Study of Modelling Change in the Not-for-Profit Sector

This case study describes efforts to clarify and refocus information management and operational procedures in an organization concerned with placement of children for adoption in the UK, following the introduction of a database system. The study illustrates the use of process modelling in the context of an information-intensive organization in the not-for-profit sector.
