Hardcover with dust jacket. Tom Wicker, Author. The price has been clipped from the inside flap of the dust jacket. Illustrations by Bill Berry. William Morrow & Company, New York, Publisher, 1964. Printed in the USA. Designed by George Salter. Total 61 pages. Light blue with black trim on the boards and with gilt lettering on the spine. Contains some beautiful black and white drawings that some of us have never seen before, just lovely and a must see! The dust jacket shows light shelf/edge wear and a couple of very small tears at the top of the jacket near the spine of the jacket. The pages while age toned are in very good condition and have no markings or tears, looks really good. The spine is tight and straight. The endpages are blue and clean. This is a good one to add to your Kennedy collection. This book is Out of Print. Approximate size is 5.75 x 8.50 and about .25 inches thick. Foreword by Arthur Krock. "This book will be remembered as unique and valuable. It is brilliantly written by a White House reporter who while it is still possible, before reality fades into myth and the monuments obscure the man, asks us to make a last effort to see Kennedy as he really was. He was a man of few days and full of trouble. but the statues will tell us nothing of that." Another good Kennedy book to add to your collection and with a price assigned to make it quite affordable and well worth it. *5BC2
