Table in the Wilderness

This novel follows closely the Biblical outline from the time Jacob first announces that Joseph will succeed him as ruler of Israel, through his years with Potiphar, his imprisonment under accusations by Potiphar's wife, his interpretations of the pharaoh dreams, his subsequent elevation to great power in Egypt, his dramatic reunion with his fathers and brothers and their removal to Egypt when the seven years of drought lays waste the land surrounding Egypt.
