Cartoons that live

This is a book of cartoons by Jack Hamm. Jack worked on such comic strips as "Boots and Her Buddies" and "Ally Oop". For 5 1/2 years he illustrated Dr. Albert Wiggam's popular feature, "Let's Explore Your Mind." His religious cartoons have appeared in nearly a thousand newspapers and magazines. He received wide recognition when J. Edgar Hoover requested the original drawing for the cartoon found on Page 33 of this book. He was popularized when Senator Kefauver's attention was attracted to his work, the week that the cartoon on Page 63 appeared. He became a prize winner in Freedom Foundation's national award, receiving the medal of honor from the hand of Vice-president Nixon.
