Description

This IDC Flash examines the January 19 announcement by SAP that it had acquired TomorrowNow, the most recognized third-party provider of enterprise maintenance and support for customers of PeopleSoft and J.D. Edwards (JDE). TomorrowNow, headquartered in Bryan, Texas, employs nearly 40 people and is quickly approaching the 100-client contract mark.

SAP also announced a new program, "Safe Passage," in which it is offering technology (including its NetWeaver platform) and services (including migration assistance) that will allow PeopleSoft customers to maintain their PeopleSoft and JDE applications as legacy software for some time before migrating to SAP's own applications.
