IDC's CMO Advisory Research group recently hosted its first-ever conference on the topic of marketing measurement. The conference, Marketing Performance Measurement Summit for Business-to-Business Marketers, was held on January 19, 2005, in New York City. More than 160 industry executives attended, primarily from the IT vendor community, but other B2B marketers — from financial services, publishing, and other industries — were also in attendance.
