From the supplier: The goal of Bulgaria's Research Group on Education (RGE) is to make learning an active process and integrate subject matter through the means and methods of informatics. Informatics is an integral part of the curriculum at the 27 RGE schools, and LOGO is the programming language of choice. RGE has intensified teacher training as a means to achieving its goal, and teachers learn how to teach students to learn on their own. RGE sponsors seminars and educational conferences at which teachers are encouraged to share ideas and experiences, and continues to cultivate teachers' personality, creativity, and self-confidence. RGE's 'Ten Commandments' for teachers, derived from teacher experience and LOGO literature, are presented.
