From the supplier: Pres Bill Clinton hopes that implementation of the investment tax credit (ITC) will revitalize American economy. Under the new plan, companies investing in new plants and productive equipments in the country will pay reduced taxes. The ITC program is actually an old economic policy, having been introduced in 1961 by the Kennedy administration. Although the details of the plan remain unclear, business executives hope that the program will alleviate the nation's dismal economic condition.
