From the supplier: Wood adhesive maufacturers and suppliers are developing water-based adhesives which would replace solvent-based products. Water-based products offer several advantages, including lower volatile organic compound emissions and better performance. Water-based adhesives also pose lower health risks to woodworking employees, are non-flammable and can easily be cleaned up and disposed. In addition, they are more economical, since they contain high solids and can produce strong bonds even when used in small quantities.
