From the supplier: The Wiz Kids Inc, a talented group of inner city students in Paterson, NJ, are launching Fields of Learning, a multimedia software curriculum. Published by K-12 Micromedia Publishing, the project began in the 1970s with the applications programming activities of teacher Jim Gerrish and a dedicated group of students. The first module of the multimedia delivery system for Apple Macintosh platforms deals with Life Sciences, with planned modules scheduled to encompass Earth and Physical Sciences, US, Afro-American and World History. Hypercard provides the platform for the interactive videodiscs of the Fields of Learning system. The various members of Wiz Kids provide the sound, animation, still images and computer graphics that are used in building the applications.
