From the supplier: Employers can prevent significant losses due to the costs of sexual harassment suits which employees may bring against their companies by aggressively instituting policies which prevent and punish sexual harassment. A review of recent sexual harassment cases indicate a liberal trend among courts in defining sexual harassment and that judges and juries are likely to be sympathetic to plaintiffs in sexual harassment suits. Among the specific actions to prevent sexual harassment are the establishment of an anti-harassment policy, to define which behaviors are objectionable, to train personnel to recognize sexual harassment and to ensure that supervisors implement anti-harassment policies.
