From the supplier: The nation's first Healthcare Information Network (HCIN) will bring together payors and health care providers and decrease the costs associated with a national health care system. The network will enable all those involved to communicate on-line in Connecticut, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia, Texas, Florida, New York, California and Illinois. Other states will be added in late 1993. At a later date, patients will no longer need to fill out forms, and providers will always know what plan a patient has.
