From the supplier: Michael Toth and Alejandro Lugo first set up their home center stores in Nicaragua in 1989. Called Interiors, their stores specialize in kitchen and bathroom wares using products manufactured mostly in the US. Their Nicaraguan operations proved to be such a success that they have opened new stores in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. While each of these countries offer great business opportunities, prospective retailers should note that the culture and business climate in each are different.
