From the supplier: Most preventive maintenance programs use Pareto analysis in relation to the resource with the most unscheduled downtime. A new approach is presented using the theory of constraints (TOC). TOC focuses on the company's goal and how to achieve such goal. It does not focus on cost reduction like many other improvement programs. Rather, it seeks to increase the level of manufacturing.
