From the supplier: Insurance groups, such as the Independent Insurance Agents of American and the National Assn of Life Underwriters, are fighting the US Supreme Court's decision that allows the banking industry to sell annuities. These groups have signed a letter to fight for legislation that will enable individual states to decide whether their banks should be allowed to sell insurance products. The VALIC decision, made by the Supreme Court, has stirred the entire insurance industry.
