From the supplier: New laws have substantially increased the penalties imposed for violations of federal health and safety regulations. In addition, the Occupational Health and Safety Administration is now given much discretion in penalizing flagrant violations of its rules. To avoid future problems, companies should institute a good health and safety program for the workplace. The program should be supported by a comprehensive training effort to educate employees on safety and related issues.
