From the supplier: CRS Systems, the inspection division of Insurance Services Office, uses a hand-held computer writing tablet to conduct its inspection efficiently in the field. The tablets are equipped with color digital camera, a modem, computer-aided-design software, and a pen for inputting information and for sketching on the tablet's surface. Reps can now sketch drawings in the field, snap color pictures of property sites, fill out reports, and send them via modem to the office, significantly cutting turnaround time.
