From the supplier: The threat of litigation has prompted many businss organizations to pay closer attention to preemployment screening programs. In view of this trend, Palo Alto, CA-based Sun Microsystems Inc. developed an in-house screening program for conducting background checks on prospective hirees. Called 'Sunscreen,' the company's program has proven to be very effective in pinpointing individuals using falsified information in their job applications.
