From the supplier: Anthropologist Roger Martin Keesing died on May 7, 1993, of a heart attack at 58 yrs. old. Keesing, who has authored eight books on the Kwaio people of Malaita, graduated Bachelor of Arts cum laude from Stanton University in 1956. Keesing was known to his friends and colleagues as an energetic man who who has contributed much to the field by encouraging research and introducing new ideas and approaches to the study of anthropology.
