From the supplier: ACE Ltd., formed in 1985 to provide excess casualty coverage, is celebrating its 10th-year anniversary. ACE is the largest underwriter of excess directors and officers liability and is among the largest providers of excess liability insurance. ACE Chmn, CEO and Pres Brian Duperreault plans to expand the reinsurer's underwriting expertise into other specialities. Already, ACE has introduced satellite and aviation product liability coverage. In the third quarter of FY1995, ACE posted income of $47.5 million, compared to a loss of $160.6 million in the third quarter of 1994.
