From the supplier: Lithuania became part of the Soviet Union in 1944 and became part of the communist rule. Machine building and metal working industries were built in Lithuania. However, the political and economic crisis in the Soviet Union in 1980 enabled Lithuania to declare independence in Mar. 11, 1990. Private business has been viewed as the catalyst for economic growth in Lithuania. However, the economy still faces economic stability and the practice of management, law enforcement and domestic infrastructure are still being developed.
