From the supplier: Asthma education programs can improve the way African Americans with asthma manage their illness. The two basic elements of asthma education programs are attack prevention and attack management. These programs can be conducted by health professionals in local churches. Church members with asthma who complete these programs can then teach what they learned to other asthma patients in their communities. A seven-week education program is discussed.
