From the supplier: The Financial Accounting Standards Board clarifies accounting and reporting for investments in equity securities with easily calculated fair values and investments in debt securities with the issuance of Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (SFAS) No. 115, 'Accounting for Certain Investments in Debt and Equity Securities.' It is hoped that this statement will resolve problems encountered in SFAS No. 12. The provisions of SFAS No. 115 are presented using a flowchart approach.
