From the supplier: The passive female heroines usually depicted in fairy tales can be changed into strong heroic characters by storytellers that utilize subtle changes in oral narration. Carol McGirr and Susan Gordon narrate fairy tales in such a way that the female protagonists appears as a strong and courageous character. The subjective interpretation of the female narrators are reflected in their stories by changes in voice tone and the addition of dialogues for the female protagonists.
