From the supplier: Optimal summary length is dependent on task-related experience, where task complexity and performer experience interact in determining optimal summary length. These findings were obtained from retention tests which were used to establish an optimal length for summary knowledge of results (KR) which are critical to motor learning. Participants were asked to practise a simple striking task with no KR retention test.
