From the supplier: The relationship between the human and divine natures of Jesus Christ is accurately expressed in the 'anhypostasis-enhypostasis' formula. These linked Greek terms, originally developed by Leontius of Byzantium, show how the human nature of Jesus exists only within and in contrast to his divinity. Theologians influenced by Karl Barth often discussed these terms, but Barth used them in the less accurate version developed by the Lutheran Scholastics.
