From the supplier: National Assn of Independent Insurers (NAII) president and CEO Jack Ramirez said that the group expects the devolution of power from the federal government to the states to continue, even if the Democrats regain control of Congress in Nov 1996. Former New Hampshire governor John Sununu, in comments at the NAII's 1996 convention, said that the devolution trend is not going to disappear. The Heritage Foundation's Douglas Seay is less optimistic about devolution, however.
