From the supplier: American Tort Reform Assn Pres Sherman Joyce urged tort reform advocates to quickly mobilize to be effective in the 105th Congress. Tort reform legislation was passed by the House in the 104th Congress, but legislation in the Senate was limited to product liability and Pres Clinton vetoed another product liability bill. Considering past hitches, legislation should be developed early in order that the subject come up early in the congressional session.
