From the supplier: Development of complex physical skills or the physical education (PE) of disabled children should be based on a systematic PE curriculum that promotes motivation, physical health and practical/functional skills. Physical therapy of disabled children should be conducted in a nonthreatening training environment by the collaborative effort of PE instructors and therapists. Furthermore, the successful integration of sport skills in the curriculum depends on the interests and motor skills of the student and peer support.
