From the supplier: Patient confidentiality has become harder to maintain with medical records kept electronically. Breaches of privacy and confidentiality come both intentionally and unintentionally. Intentional breaches include medical staff sharing passwords or using computers to access information about friends, relatives, celebrities and other people to whom they are not professionally connected. Unintentional breaches include leaving computer screens on and unattended, improper disposal of papers, and discussion of patients where conversations can be overheard.
