From the supplier: Ernst & Young's 'Special Report on Technology in Banking and Financial Services' showed differences in the way banks and asset managers use their technology budgets. In 1996, banks allocated 19% of technology expenditures for new products while asset managers allocated 13%. On the other hand, asset managers earmarked 41% of their budgets for new customer acquisitions compared to banks which allocated only 31%.
