From the supplier: Bermuda's EXEL Ltd has agreed to purchase Folksamerica General Insurance Co from Folksamerica Reinsurance Co. The acquisition is the first step in EXEL's plan to gain access to US customers who have not traditionally accessed the Bermuda market, according to president and CEO Brian O'Hara.
