From the supplier: The arts can be a vehicle to provide Hispanic children with some of the best ways to combine enjoyment, excitement, appreciation of global cultures and aesthetic experiences. Spanish children like other children occasionally need to be coaxed into the world of books and reading. About 20 books directed at Hispanic children are recommended. An individual student's Spanish reading ability, interests, tastes and goals should be the main criteria for gauging the actual appropriateness of each of the books.
