From the supplier: The Supreme Court's decisions on religion and public schools 1948-98 number only ten, beginning with McCollum v. Board of Education in 1948. The justices have been very careful to emphasize that church-state separation ensures the independence and integrity of religion and protects the right of all Americans to make decisions about religion without interference from the government. Nevertheless the groups on the Religious Right accuse the high court of showing hostility toward religion.
