From the supplier: The personal computer is a good equalizer and frees up associate, paralegal and clerical time. Lawyers can maximize computer use by customizing toolbars, learning to use templates and macros, hyperlinking and bookmarking, and desktop publishing features. They should also subscribe to a legal database, use facsimile transmission and the Internet, and protect their investment by regularly backing up work and using a virus shield. Not less than 10% of professional time should be spent acquiring technical knowledge.
