From the supplier: Sun Microsystems successfully inculcated into their employees the concept of security management through a marketing campaign and incentive contest. The company had previously been beset with problems involving unauthorized persons entering its premises and stealing personal belongings of employees. Security personnel were then loaded with additional tasks such as customer service. An information campaign was launched and prizes for employees who could spot impostors or non-employees loitering in the premises were given. This effort even improved employees' attitude towards security personnel.
