From the supplier: Plastics manufacturing using an injection molding machine with the open-loop control technology are most likely to encounter differences in step change time. Injection velocity dynamics tend to become duller as the injection molding machine is further subjected to different molding conditions. As a solution, engineers have developed the closed-loop system using fuzzy logic to control injection velocity. However, the technology needs to be perfected since its installation necessitates the use of a cavity pressure transducer.
