People with psoriasis may lack understanding of their disease," representing a barrier to successful long-term management of their chronic skin condition. Specialized education sessions offered at the Phototherapy Education and Research Centre in Toronto, Canada, improved patients' knowledge of their psoriasis, and thereby led to improved management of their disease.
