American and the World Revolution and Other Lectures

"America and the World Revolution" focuses on the brilliant historical lectures delivered by Arnold Toynbee at the University of Pennsylvania in the spring of 1961. They are important reading for all who are concerned with America's place in contemporary history. Included also are three lectures given at McGill University, in which Dr. Toynbee uses the history of the Hellenic Civilization to throw light on the possibilities that may be in store for the Western World today. The book further includes three Weatherhead Foundation Lectures, delivered at the University of Puerto Rico, which debate the contemporary movement for social justice in Latin America.
