Hiroyuki Kadowaki, market analyst, Communications Research, IDC Japan says, "Entry (low-priced/guaranteed privacy) IP VPNs that use broadband as a consumer platform are gaining popularity. This service will continue to expand mainly among users who seek to expand their bandwidth in the future. The use of conventional Internet VPNs will also expand among users who are more conscious about pricing. As the market matures, the importance of increasing the number of business bases and expanding bandwidth by existing users as well as optional services such as remote access will further increase.
