Sheldon Rubenfeld is a practicing thyroidologist who pioneered the use of fine needle aspiration biopsy of the thyroid in Texas. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and a Fellow in both the American College of Endocrinology and in the American College of Physicians. His scientific articles have been published in many medical journals, and he is a member of numerous professional medical societies.
