Description:
The Liquid Crystal Display is growing for important tools of our life, such as the monitor of PCs, TVs and mobile phones. Particularly we could realize the display for animation or full-color required from many applications by using the Thin Film Transistor technology. But, the other demand to the display, as easy to read the contents, is increasing gradually besides the animation and colors. The display for mobile applications (mobile phone or PDA) particularly needs high resolutions in order to understand the contents correctly, because these applications have the limitation of the display area. And it is also very important for mobile applications to get the long operate time. So we need low electrical power consumption for them. We developed ultra high-resolution display for PDA, it has 1000dpi and monochrome type, using ferroelectrics liquid crystal having memory property in order to satisfy the demand as mentioned above.
