Wildflowers Vocabulary Cards

These vocabulary cards are classic Montessori materials that let the pre-reader work with captivating photos without the distraction of the written word. They are designed to be used in the home or school for vocabulary building lessons, object-to-photo matching, and for sorting work (e.g., sorting pets from transportation). The Wildflowers Vocabulary Card packet contains beautiful photos of the flowers that grow everywhere (whether we want them to or not) including blanket flower, dandelion, bull thistle, golden rod, milkweed, and more. These cards spark children's interest in the natural world and give them the tools to discuss the botanical specimens they encounter in their daily life. 12 cards in all (each card is approx. 3 2/3" x 4 1/3") plus a control sheet listing the names of all subjects and a sample lesson plan for teacher/parent reference. All photos clearly isolate their subject. All cards are laminated with a heavy 5 mil laminate, have rounded corners, and are packaged in a sturdy reclosable bag for easy storage.
