This software is an interactive program for the calculation of more than 25 thermophysical properties of water and steam based on the industrial formulation IAPWS-IF97.
The software contains the possibility to calculate single states, whereas different combinations of input variables can be chosen. In addition, the program allows to calculate up to 33 diagram types for different properties, including the well known h-s, T-s, p-h and p-rho diagrams. A third program module can be used to calculate isolines of the most important properties. Along these isolines all other properties presented in the program can be evaluated. This way it is possible to calculate a user specific personal steam table that can be printed as a handy table, saved in a text file or exported to Microsoft Excel. All properties in the program can be entered, calculated and displayed in different units (including SI- and US units). Due to its interactive structure, the program can be used comfortably for the calculation of small to medium large amounts of property data.
The software is presented bilingual in English and German, including a comprehensive help file.
In addition to the interactive program the CD also contains a Dynamic-Link-Library that offers the same functions for the calculation of thermophysical properties as presented in the program. In combination with the Add-In that is also given on the CD, this DLL can be used in Microsoft Excel. The DLL can also be linked to user specific programs (Fortran, C, Visual Basic, etc.) for the calculation of large amounts of property data.
Bei dieser Software handelt es sich um ein interaktives PC-Programm zur Berechnung von mehr als 25 thermophysikalischen Eigenschaften von Wasser und Wasserdampf auf der Grundlage der Industrie-Formulation IAPWS-IF97.
Die Software enthält Möglichkeiten zur Berechnung von einzelnen Zustandspunkten, wobei verschiedene Kombinationen von Eingangsgrößen gewählt werden können. Zusätzlich stehen bis zu 33 verschiedene Diagramme unterschiedlicher Zustandsgrößen, einschließlich der bekannten (h,s), (T,s), (p,h) und (p,rho)–Diagramme, zur Verfügung. Ein drittes Programmmodul ermöglicht die Berechnung von Isolinien der wichtigsten Zustandsgrößen. Entlang dieser Isolinien können alle weiteren im Programm berechenbaren Zustandsgrößen ermittelt werden. Auf diese Weise ist es möglich, eine auf die eigenen Bedürfnisse zugeschnittene Dampftafel zu erstellen, die übersichtlich ausgedruckt, in einer Textdatei gespeichert oder nach Microsoft Excel exportiert werden kann. Alle Zustandsgrößen können im gesamten Programm in unterschiedlichen Einheiten (u.a. SI- und US Units) eingegeben, berechnet und angezeigt werden. Das Programm kann somit aufgrund seiner interaktiven Struktur komfortabel für Berechnungen kleiner bis mittlerer Datenmengen genutzt werden.
Für den Gebrauch inklusive der ausführlichen Hilfe Datei kann zwischen den Sprachen Englisch oder Deutsch gewählt werden.
Zusätzlich zum interaktiven Programm befindet sich auf der CD eine Dynamic-Link-Library, die den vollen Funktionsumfang des Programms enthält, der zur Berechnung der thermophysikalischen Stoffdaten notwendig ist.
