This IDC study (which is a translation of the Japanese report, IDC #J7020104) analyzes and investigates the prospects and future of the infrastructure market of the next-generation mobile market.
Based on the analysis, IDC believes that "Although there is a high possibility that the Super 3G market will grow after year 2010, there are many issues such as efficiency of infrastructure investment that carriers have to resolve at the earliest stage", says Michito Kimura, senior market analyst, IDC Japan Communications.
